"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them" - Matthew 28:19a. In December of 2016 I got accepted to go on a mission trip to Uganda, Africa. I had no idea what I was about to experience. Because like I heard my pastor say in church this last week "God waits until you're ready, not when you feel ready". That statement hit home for me because when I went to Uganda, I did not feel ready. In fact there were moments when I felt like I didn't belong there and like I was an outcast. Even when we did our tour days where we got to; ride a boat in the Nile, climb a bunch of hills, and even go on a safari. But most importantly during our time out in the mission field I felt God work on my heart and my life, in ways I didn't see coming.

One of the biggest things He placed on my heart was the desire to go on another trip. Another mission trip to be exact.  I didn't know when or where, but I knew that God would tell me when the time came. So, I went on with my life, trying to live my life for Christ every day since I got back. And as the Lord would have it, I was looking for mission trips to go on during the summer of 2018,  and well to my surprise I found one where they would be travelling to Poland for a little over a week. I knew that as soon as I saw that opportunity pop up, that I had to apply to go on the trip. Because I felt this was God's way of telling me that this is how I will fulfill his calling for me the last 12 or so years.

When I was just eight years old, a team from my church had just gotten back from a mission trip to Poland. They were sharing their stories of how God used them during their time there. I turned to my mom and said "mom I'm going there. Someday I will be a missionary and travel to Poland". I don't think my mom really believed me, but here we are 12 years later and the opportunity has finally arrived.

I am so excited to share the love of God with the people of Poland and to teach them how to share the Gospel and their testimonies in an effective way that will help lead others to Christ. Please be in prayer for my team and I as we prepare to go. I also ask that you would keep every person we encounter in your thoughts and prayers as well so that we can share God's love with them.
